Privacy Policy

What the app stores — on your device only

• Captured images, thumbnails, and the PDFs you export — saved to your chosen folder (default Documents\PageCapture Studio).
• App settings and logs — in %AppData%\PageCapture Studio. Logs never contain image content, passwords, or personal data.

None of this is ever uploaded. Captures never leave your machine.

What we never do

• No account, no sign‑in to use the app.
• No cloud upload of your captures — ever.
• No advertising, no bundled third‑party software.
• No analytics or telemetry (there is none in the app).
• The app only captures what is already visible on your screen; it does not bypass DRM, logins, or copy protection.

When you buy the paid version

The Pro upgrade is an optional purchase made on our website. When you buy it:

• Payment is processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card details — PayPal handles payment under their privacy policy.
• We store your email address and the order reference so we can email you your license key and provide support.
• We send your license key by email using Resend (an email delivery provider).

License activation

A license activates one PC and can be moved between your computers. To enforce that, when you activate or move a license the app sends to our licensing server:

• your license key, and
• a device ID — a one‑way hash derived from hardware/OS identifiers. It is not personally identifiable and cannot be reversed to reveal anything about your PC.

We store the license key, purchase email, and the currently‑active device ID so the same key isn't used on more than one PC at a time. Day‑to‑day use of the app needs no network connection.

Your rights & contact

You can request a copy or deletion of the purchase data we hold (email, order reference, device ID) at any time. Contact us through the contact form.
